@Dragy: Did you allready made some progress to making this plugin compatible for MP 1.6? :)
Unfortunately I forgot about it, I actually don't know if I will make it compatible since this is still a pre release and I use my development PC also as a media PC for my bedroom now, which needs to be stable..
When 1.6 final is out I will definitely take a look at it.

By the way, how is it incompatible? Is it just that MediaPortal says it's incompatible or does it crash or just not work? If it's the first one than most probably I can fix it without installing 1.6

Just a remember that UPnP.dll eat CPU/Memory usage (for sure it happen with older Auto3D plugins but not anymore like UPnP.dll is not used anymore) :)

What do you mean with the sentence between brackets? I don't understand :(

On Auto3D plugin, UPnP.dll (Intel open source) was used and when UPnP.dll is in use, MP have CPU/Memory Usage.
Maybe it will not happen with your plugin but i just want to warn you.

Step to see is CPU/Memory usage comes, for Auto3D, i do it like this : Enable the plugin of course :) and let MP running with Music and quickly Memory goes and hig and CPU get fixed @ 13% on my i7 3770k and lead to slow start movie etc. (even MP freeze).

So maybe it's ok with your plugin but maybe not and UPnP.dll can be the source of issue.

Try this for 1.6, I didn't do anything actually, just recompiled it with "designed for" set at 1.6

    There are 2 files: UPnP.dll and MP_UpnpRenderer.dll

Maybe MP_UpnpRenderer.dll still need a version bump like you did also with UPnP.dll?

Thanks anyway for giving this a try! (y)
