How to use Pinnacle (PCTV 310i) remote control

i tryed porros files settings and got it to work now.

I'm happy kladdas that now it works. Some keys (like volume etc.) are different from original settings of MP so you must change the key setting in MP setup & than set the same key in the remote settings configuration file.

I hope that your MP works fine.

ok
i notised that the volume and the stop button dident work.
so i have to change it in the profil.ini and in the mp remote setup for keboard if i gett it right

It should work if you copy exactly.

You can ignore the lines with a leading ";" - so does the Pinnacle SW.

Hello Jayrock,

Your profiles.ini text did nor work, but...i got my remote to work by naming remote keys for every MP window.
Its a bit of work:

[MediaPortal - Home]
;
;***************
; Remote Type B
;***************
;
; FastForward
key1036=KEYBOARD F6+^F6
........................................

[MediaPortal - My Videos]
;

; Remote Type B
;***************
;
; FastForward
key1036=KEYBOARD F6+^F6
........................................

I did this for all my MediaPortal Windows.
There are some 30+ windows.
Its not hard to make because most windows you only need the remote keys for up/down/enter/back (for example only the settings windows).

Anyway i'm glad i got the remote to work!
