Watch movies from within RAR-files

When you (for some unknown reason) have a movie packed within several RAR-files, you can't at the moment not watch it in MP without unpacking it first.
To avoid this you can use this work around:

First you need MPlayer
Here are the files incl. source:
http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/dload.html

Second you have to make a bat-file with this content (note the last dash):

"C:\program files\winrar\unrar.exe" p -inul %1 | "C:\program files\mplayer\mplayer.exe" -fs -

Then in My Programs setup you make a dir browser starting the bat file, the file type beeing .rar

so many ways to do things, so much setup of this and that, isnt it just easier using windows when u have to :?:

This way you do it once, then you can sit in your couch starting a movie with just the remote control.
It's what I call it, a workaround. Maybe some day someone has the time, interest and knowledge to implement it in MP. Maybe you?
