What to do if MP is corrupted In fact, after the installation, make a complete copy/paste of the mediaportal directory on your hardisk.
When a db is corrupted, or something runs bad... Just copy/paste the MP-backup in your Mp install directory.
With this solution you can restart a valid version of MP in a few seconds... without a complete re-installation.
I've done that a few times, and it works fine...
(Just dont copy paste you tvguide.xml file if you want to keep the latest TV guide)
