Country: | Somewhere in the past it has been mentioned that the teveblad.be grabber displays question marks ? instead of a quote '. I went to dig in a bit further and here is what happens... Teveblad uses the right curly quote mark/apostropher ’ and encodes it correctly as & # 146 ; In the TVGuide.xml this seems to disappear when you open it, but if you open it in UTF-8 it actually displays Æ which is & # 198 ; or &Aelig; I don't have enough knowledge of the finer workings of webepg to fix this myself. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Edit - put space in the ascii codes so they don't get replaced |

Country: | Well, here is a modified teveblad grabber that replaces the weird apostrophe by the normal apostrophe, which in turn gets interpreted correctly. Not sure it is the cleanest way to do it, but on my machine it works correctly in my first tests. Edit: removed the attachment as there are some issues with it. Also, moved the discussion to the other thread concerning this problem. Last edited by Furetto; 2007-12-09 at 17:48. Reason: removed attachment |
