Default Need help finding DVB-S & DVB-T in one PCI Card

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to change to current TV server machine, I am looking at getting an Intel Atom based machine which features one PCI slot.
I would like to keep everything internal so need to find a PCI TV Tuner that supports DVB-S (S2 would be even better!) and DVB-T all in one card..
So far I've found;
Hauppauge HVR3000 / HVR4000
Asus MyCinema PS3-100

I'd like to be able to record from one source while watching the other which from what I've read isn't an option with the Hauppauge cards due to a hardware limitation..

Does anyone know if the Asus tuner can do it, or have recommendations of any other cards that fit the bill?

Cheers!

Reviving an old thread...

I'm looking for an answer to the same question. I've been using a Hauppauge HVR-3000 for the last couple of years, only really using the DVB-S tuner because there was no DVB-T where I am. But in a few days we'll have full Freeview DVB-T, so it seems a good time to get a new tuner. I could just throw in a dual DVB-T card and carry on using the HVR-3000 for DVB-S, but it would nice to upgrade to DVB-S2 at the same time.

So, is there a card that will do DVB-S2 and (dual?) DVB-T? The only one I know of is the Black Gold 6in1, but it only seems to come in PCIe format and doesn't seem to exist at the moment anyway. I need it to be PCI (PCIe slot is used by a graphics card).

Or would I be better off just getting a dual DVB-T card and possibly swapping the HVR-3000 for a stand-alone DVB-S2 later? I've got two PCI slots so no real reason not to have two separate tuner cards.

What's a good dual DVB-T card for MP at the moment?

Thanks,

Rob
