TV card detected but no channels found

Hello,

I have two TV card installed on my server - old kworld analog BT878 and MSI megasky 580 DVB-T card.

After modifying dvbt.xml for my country digital channels are found - everything OK.

But when try to search channels on my old kworld after scanning none of the channels are found (I don't know if it's important but on channel searching screen there is info "TV tuner locked: NO").

I also use DScaler and tried iuvcr for scheduled recording without problem.

Any help or info appreciated.

Yes i have the same problem. My card is detected but no channels scan.

I am using TV EngineV3 (with latest SVN's) and used my PlayTV Pro 2 - Bt878 analog Tv Card.

Note that the card (as many 878 cards) does not digitize audio, done by the sound card via line-in.

Same problem for me, on a PowerColor Theater 550 PRO. I see a lot of people are having the same problem on analog cards.

Anybody with a solution?

Same here, i'm using two ati 550 pro

I had that problem briefly, I use XP MCE 2005, I first of all disabled all MCE services, and restarted the machine. Then it worked.

Analog SW cards will likely always have problems, they are a pain.
I have not solved my problems, some extensive information from another user in this thread:

The Theater 550 PRO series cards are hardware encoders, not software. I am not sure about the other cards in the start of this thread.
