HI

Didn't try yesterday due to change log.

Still no sky hd, audio present if changing from normal channel, not when turn on.

Tried both main concept & cyberlink h264 decoders. Disabled EVR & had to use task manager to escape.

Two sets of logs att. as on first run of test tool MP crashed.

Last svn with sky hd working was 16622.

not working so well today. first channel always works fine, audio and video with nvidia codecs. when I change channel I get audio but no video? seem like it is all codec related. tried mpv and it works fine.

Seems like your filters refuse to connect.

have u installed any codec packs ?

I'm using powerdvd 6 for video, and ffdaudio for audio on vmr9.
ATI gfx.

I seldom see any of these problems.

I have just tested this SVN and the issues with starting MyTV with BBC1 or BBC2 as default are now gone and that part fully works again.

Problems now exist with the TV3 plugins I use, they no longer load and throw errors in the logs.

I use TV3ExtChannelChanger and the TVScheduler plugins.

I have attached the logs...

Did also think BBC HD had stopped till I remember there was a PID update and had to rescan.

no I have ffdshow installed, cyberlink 7.3 ultra, nvidia and Matroska Splitter. I only use nvidia. I re-installed nvidia and they worked for about 6 or 7 changes but I still get the back screen with sound on my last channel change. I have to close mp to get it to work again.

I am not getting any plugins showing up in the configuration other than the ones installed with the TV Server with this SVN.

have another log for you. same issue except after the black screen I got no audio or video and media portal crashed. had to restart my pc.

The strage this about this log is the ts reader log is nearly 6mb??

Hi all,

My apologies if this is not the correct place for this post, but I am a relatively new user andcouldn´t find forum on TV Engine 3.

I´ve installed TVEngine3 and MediaPortal Client Plugin and MySQL5, all without any problems. My problem begins on the TV Server database confguration step. I enter the configuration program and input the SQL Server details, ServiceName, Hostname, user and password. But I am told when I test the connection hat Host 'SALA' is not allowed to connect to the database. The instance was configured during the MYSQL install step as per the wiki instrutions.

I´have been playing about a bit and I´ve realised it is due to the fact that, as my machine connects to the internet via WiFi, the Network card, as it has no cable plugged in, is not being assigned and IP address. If I use the GUI tools provided with MYSQL to connect to the instance using servername 'localhost' there is no problem and I see that the server IP is 127.0.0.1. However, when I input localhost or 127.0.0.1 as the Host in the TVServer configuration, the 'TEST' of the connection works fine, but when I try to save I am told that I cannot use either of these values as Host.

Any ideas?
