If I choose microsoft dtv-dvd as video and audio decoder all works fine.
I would suggest you to use MS audio decoder (as it has been designed to work with live tv. MS uses it in MCE).

with previous SVN there was temporary fix with which the channel was tuned after the second attempt when choosing it. now, it doesn't tune to that channels anymore, must do a rescan of the whole channel list and try then. so, tv unusable, logs attached

Attachment 49763
the way you mean is still there, you can see it in your log: wait for pmt -> timeout once -> lookup SID in PAT -> not found -> no tv.

there's nothing we can do if even the SID is not found on the tuned transponder....

Yes but if I use MS audio decoder I dont have the possibility to configure my surround correct. ffdshow is the only one I have found where i could get it to work as it should.

Thanks for the info. This is a dvbIP stream (multicast MPEG2-TS), it's working allways without problems in VLC or other software for multicast IPTV (MulticasTV, Frip). When it cannot be solved it's mythtv time for me then I suppose.

Hi guys,

dont know if this bug is new to this SVN but if i do a skip for x seconds in an mpeg2 og ts movie the info shown on the OSD is the channel name from previously viewed tv channel. If i hit the info button on the mce remote it correctly shows what im watching.

regards

Jacob

Hi

After installing the SVN build the configuration utility crashes soon as the config-splashscreen displays.
The log show an SQL.Lite.error which does not when installing official release.

If i am going back to the official release everything works. Any idea why my configuration tools keeps crashing with the svn builds?

thanks! greetings

-cleaner

btw; tried complete removal (everything reg, files, etc) - reinstall official then svn. still the same.

EDIT: FIXED. Overwrite with an older svn and then again the latest one did the trick .. don't know why but working now.

Hi dev's :-)

I guess were getting close :-)

I have some minor and some major problems ....

I will start of with a major ...
After installing this SVN on the client side there is a wait of +/- 20 seconds on the first tune request to the server.
Is this done intentionally ??

If so, is it adjustable ?

If not intentional .. i have logs ready for this problem.

My specs Windows 7 server, windows 7 client, 2 * Floppy DTV DVB-C + cam and saf 4

Louis

UPDATE:

I found the problem was already known, windows 7 has a firewall problem :-(

Default Zapping/Timeshift Problem

Another quite obvious problem that I can't find any reports of, so I'm not sure whether it's a bug or something happening exclusively to me:

When switching tv channels (DVB-T with a dual tuner card), quite often the timeshift buffer starts playing back from its beginning after the channel change instead of the current time. This doesen't happen always, but once it happened for the first time it happens for all subsequent switches until tv ist stopped and started again.

Logs are attached. Log files were deleted before starting MP and reproducing the issue, so they should be as clear as possible.

Hi,

What skin are you using? The OSD is part of the skin, so this information is essential.
