hmm, definately will not work with that graphics chipset.

Hmm, so you are saying, i can't use this laptop.
There is nothing i can do about that, i think.
Or is there a technical solution?

You can't use that onboard GPU, no. It's not powerful enough to put it simply.

With a desktop PC, you can simply add a new GPU in a free slot, but there is no free slot in a laptop, right?
Can I Buy a GPU for my laptop, is this external, or.....?

Hi,

i just test the new RC1 Version - great work !!!

So, i have found only some small problems.

After installing RC1 there is no "Thumb Folder" in the root of MP. I can create or copy an Folder of one of my other HTPC´s with the "older MP" , but in myTV no thumbs visible.

Without any svn MP starts allway fine, with last svn i got the "not focus" problem too.

With or without svn i have the problem that i cant change my speakerlevel correct. In my TV i can make it from 100% level lower but only a little bit louder again. The Level indicator goes back only 1 or 2 steps and that is. If i start any videoplayback i can change the level back without any problem.

Regards,
Erbsenkopp

Default HDTV channels 23.5

Hi all I installed the latest svn build.
I use the dvb-s2 tt 3200s card for tv.
I also have 2 lnb's 1 for 19.2 astra and 1 for 23.5 astra 3.
When scanning (inc hd channels) I got some not found and some no signal messages.
Also when I look in the directory where the sattelite files are I see a file for the hdtv channels for the 23.5 astra sattelite. But from the tvserver config tool I can't select the HDTV Channels 23.5.
So I edit the xml file in the same directory and put in the 23.5 hd and now I can select it.
But also with this one no signal and not found (It only found 6 channels). And it found not the HD channels for canal digitaal (Netherland). The normal dutch channels on the 23.5 are found.

Hi Folks,

since some versions before my timeshifting jumps sometimes forward sometimes back.
Means when im watching tv the timeshift jumps away from the realtime tv or if i in delayed view it jumps too.

Sometimes the stoped programm starts again without my control.
I try to find out some solutions in the forum here but ... hmmm if im the only one ....

I use the latest Build of RC1 with singleseat of TV-Server and MP.

for this great work !!!

Please note that some folders are changed. You can find them under c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal in Vista. As a rule, never create a folder, but look where it is on your system

I have a perfect running TV Server with TV client.

Now i have a laptop, that i want to use upstairs.
I can see the guide and I can see the recorded TV.
When i start the recorded TV, the screen stays black.

I followed the documentation.
It could be that I do something wrong, or is it this SVN/.
Can somebody please investigate?
Intrestingly I had this exact same problem until I moved the timeshifting folder from its default location of "c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\team mediaportal\tv server" to another location on the hard drive. Works fine for me now. Guess I'll need to play with user permissions or something if I want to keep it in the default location.

This also applied to recorded TV?
