Starting up mediaportal takes forever on my GA-MA78GM-S2H htpc. Windows Vista.
All latest drivers have been installed. I've tried the rc1 and all subsequent svns.

Could it have something to do with the realtek issue?
Any idea what could be causing this? When actually in mediaportal, things seem to be working all right.

I'll post the logs when I can but I won't be able to do so until after the next svn release.

The scanning problem still exists for me! Post
Random channel scan crashes and missing channels...
updated with new logs and also some windbg information. It seems as it is tswriter.ax that is crashing.

Hi,

I have a gui issue that went away but has returned.

It is the lines on the guide thing, starting with the word 'All' from All channels.

Please see attached where I have ringed the missing letters.

I know changing antialias settings have helped in the past, but doesn't seem to change this for me.

Hi RobyF,

Would much prefer to stick with the standard My trailers. I think this is a fantastic plugin and does all what i need, without the need for additional mplayer and video codecs. Online video seems a bit over the top and needs special mplayer software.

Plese could someone update the My trailers plugin to reflect the apple site changes?

I evr is not advised to use under xp sp2 but only when activated I do not have the vertical lines problem mit smart - stretching a 4:3 on my 16:9 screen.

So my only problem with evr is that when I play a dvd and want to skip the skip is executed, but then the dvd plays on and i can't send another command to mediaportal. i'd say it crashes although the film plays on...
