Hi, I've been getting this problem since the last 2 or 3 svn releases: Basically I cannot watch the same channel in two different clients, I have a server running MpServer+MpClient and a second computer running MpClient. I have two analogue cards connected with s-video and composite, not using the tuners.

To help you out read my logs, I ran MpClient from server and started watching FOXTEL, then I run MpClient in the other computer and selected available streams and got the message "Unable to start timeshifting - No free card available"

TvServer.zip has the TvServer logs only

hi,

i am unable to scan high-band channels.

dvbs: hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S-Plus
driver:88x_2_121_25351_whql_32_64.exe (17.12.2007)
system: windows xp sp3 / full patched
clean system only windows /codec / mediaportal are installed
Motherboard: GA-MA78GM
Radeon 3200 onBoard
CPU: 4850
Ram: 2gb MDT
Sat: Astra 19.2 / Hotbird 13.0 with 4x1 DiSeqC 2.0



First channel scan: everything looks good ( astra scan skip it self after TP40 and hotbird was 100% ok )
Second channel scan : only Astra, no highband channels found.

Reboot
Next channel scan : no highband channels. test with Diseqc 'LevelAA' and 'None' ( Astra is connected on the first LNB entry on the diseqc switch )

Starting this build (or the previous one... I didn't try that one, but the one BEFORE that definitately worked ok) the standby seems to be acting weird. When I press Standby during TV watching, it stops the TV-stream (and goes to the TV menu) but that's just it. It doesn't go into standby. I need to press a second time before it actually goes. When I am not watching TV it shuts down correctly. I checked the plugins (client and server), but still configured OK.

Second, when I close MediaPortal (I press Alt-F4 in full screen), it disappears, but the process remains active. When I terminate the process after a few minutes, the test tool reports it crashed unexpectedly

I Attached the logs, gathered by the test tool. Since both issues are perfectly reproduceable (+ the one below) I cleared the logs first using the Test tool button and then reproduced the these problems.

Actually it contains a third problem, but this has been in there longer: Somehow when I am watching "Channel 1", I can only zap to "Channel 5" or "Channel 11". Other channels give me either "No free card available" or "Unable to start Timeshifting". No other channels have this and when I am on Channel 5, I can switch to any other channel. (I have a FireDTV/C). The logs should show me trying to go from "1" to "2" a few times and failing, then succesfullying going to 5.

Indeed this happened again in the last days and, I payed attention to that, with recodings which were not running parallel. These recordings didn't even overlap because they were on different transponders and I do have only one DVB-T card.

Seems like I should report this in the evening.

I got very often the message (german) "unbekannter Kanel" => in english "unknown channel" what does that mean?
