General Infos:

Please visit our Wiki-Guide before you try out this engine.
We also provide some tutorial videos which show how to install and configure the TV-Server and TV-Client.

MediaPortal TVEngine3 Capabilities:

- seperate front/backend
- supports multiple frontends
- supports multiple backends (master/slave servers)

I tried it again with the samsung q35 subnotebook, first channel works well, but if I try to change the channel MP freezes (menu, pic, sound, ...).

The MediaPortal.log is full of these lines (MP writes 50KB/min):

I tested it on client 1 and 2, there I get small channel change errors. At client one sometimes I get a short (2 - 3 sec) soundfreeze, then picture freezes, but sound works, 2 sec later both works. At client 2 at 40% of channel changes I get up to one minute a hard piture judder problem ( 2 frames a second?).
I deleted the old server logs after testing a client.

I've tested the last half dozen or so SVNs and they all crah during channel scan.
