Did a clean install of XP MCE 2005.

Installed VC++ 2005 runtime, VC++ 2005 SP1 runtime, VC++ 2008 runtime, Dot net 1.1 + update, Dot net 2.0 + update. And finally SQL Server Express 2005. Then did windows update and brought the whole thing up to date.

Installed this TV Server SVN and everything looked good. All filters registered correctly.

Got it all working but when I tried to scan for channels (DVB-T) it all fell over.

I've attached a screenshot of the crash as well as all the log files (though I don't see anything pertinent in them).

Unfortunately I don't have my test rig working yet (need a new heatsink for the cpu) so I've had to revert to a working SVN ...

and-81, did you also install the MCE updates? At least DVB components need patching.

TSWRITER.ax crashes TVSERVICE. XPsp2, VISTA32sp1.UK DVB-T

Can't scan , can't PREVIEW,, can't enter manual control from setuptv without crash. Will crash as the EPG grab starts.

Tried this new version and I have the basic stuff working, thanks a lot! EPG updating now. Seems to work as it should. Using floppdtv DVB-C and swedish Com Hem.

Yep, I applied all the updates, and after reinstalling an older SVN it works fine ...

Is there some sort of log or analysis I could do on the TsWriter filter to provide more clues as to what's going on?

I'll jump on IRC now that I'm home ...

I get an error "unable to start graph" with this one. It occurs in MediaPortal as well as when I press the preview button in TVE setup.

Logfiles attached. Would be great if someone pointed me in the right direction to solve this.

The logs state that your cam limit has been reached.
Try to increase it.

That issue seems to be resolved by increasing the cam limit.
But.. still no picture. This time, no error message on the screen, but the screen remains black.

In the logs:
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {B9559486-E1BB-45D3-A2A2-9A7AFE49B23F} failed due to the following error: 80040154

Any ideas?
