Why can i not scan any channels with this release. I have a winfast tv2000 XP. Please help!!!

I believe that card is not supported in the TV Server.
I used to have one of those cards but have upgraded to a digital TV card that the TV server supports.

Hi,

A couple of new features I got when I installed this SVN. The TVService doesn't autostart with Windows. I can however manually start it up later. The other thing is that the computer suspends when I'm looking at DVDs. In other words the powerscheduler plugin doesn't work as it should.

EDIT: The Windows Trace Session Manager service does not start and Event ID 7000 occurs did fix the autostart issue.

EDIT2: The powerscheduler problem was solved by installing SVN 18207. Strange because nothing regarding that should have been modified according to the change log.

Clients can connect to server but streams don't play, the error in the log is "Failed to get a SDP description from URL rtsp://htpc-01/stream16.0 connect() failed: Invalid argument"

It works fine on the server though.

I have the following error with clientinstall:

Hi,
riadmelb, that error it's due to failure of TsReader filter registration, you can try to regsvr32 TsReader.ax from a cmd box in MP root folder, but it seems like you're suffering like others & the new filter after code cleanup doesn't register. Developers are working on it so use a older one until it is fixed.....

donkarlos , when updating do you:
1. install latest availible MediaPortal SVN
2. install latest TVE3 availible & what do you choose here (remove all or keep & TvServer & Client on same comp)?
