logs are useless.. you didnt include mediaportal logs.. only tvserver...
and mediaportal is the one that hangs as you said.. so where are they ?

morpeus_xx is going to update some of this Technotrend handling since he has a card/CI & CAM to test against.

The strangest that at me after that have works 2 DVB-S cards Technotrend, on one of which CI slot with CAM.

At switching the sound of mistake Windows is sometimes audible. And sometimes all works without visual mistakes.
But is more often there is a lag, at switching from one card on another.

sry...attached are the media portal logs.
another info: today i deleted my tv-database completely and made a new scan of all channels. the error is still the same. interesting is that it's never a problem to watch a recorded show.

Well, because I'm pressing the STANDBY button on my remote... What other options do I have?

I guess you can't detect whether the standby button has been pressed or it's going into stand by because of inactivity. On the other hand: if you don't want it to go into standby automatically, just disable that option in Windows. That's what I did. When I press the standby button, it should go into standby.

A "regular" TV never goes into standby automatically... (unless you swtich on "sleep mode")

Btw MP without TV Server DOES go into standby when the standby button is pressed during live TV, so the functionality was just changed... Can't it be made at least optional?

Also: The setup STILL does not detect MediaPortal and won't update the Client Plugin... Anyone else has that problem?

Still same answer: a proper MP 0.2.3.0 installation has been required once for SVN. Actually we shouldn't even pay attention if you report bugs with an installation like this - sorry...

What do you mean wtih "an installation like this" ?

I have been running MP 0.2.3.0 (w/o TV Server) since it was released... I just updated to the SVN's since last week (both MP and TVServer) and I had to install 18215 in order for the setup to detect MediaPortal. Newer setups never found MediaPortal.
