| Portal Tester | Since svn 18080 memory usage for MP when the tv plugin is installed has shot up from 180k to 280-320k (working/peak) Has anyone else noticed this ? Another oddity is when you are in MYTV(home) the TVSERVICE cpu usage increases to about 25% from idle. Any subpages don't have this problem, even clicking on tv-streams causes the cpu usage to drop to normal. Last edited by SciDoctor; 2008-04-11 at 11:38. |

Country: | Still having the same problem that I posted at http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/un...53/#post252576 Have now formatted and reinstalled Windows and am still having the same problem with the TV Server crashing when scanning for Channels. Older SVN's from around January seem to work, but anything from March or April continue to crash on the channel scan. Have installed all the required hotfixes, including the BDA hotfix. Hopefully someone has an answer for this, as I have been using the TV server for over a year without too many problems, except for the last month of so where I have not been able to use it at all... Am really hoping that RC1 will fix these problems. Last edited by Fantoman; 2008-04-11 at 17:35. |

Country: | Have the same issue with 'record Monday to Friday' schedules disappearing after the first recording finishes. I am using episode management as well, not sure if that has anything to do with it. This started at least five or six builds ago, i haven't had time to look into it much more. I am pretty sure that all the programs indicate in the epg that they will record until the point when the first recording finishes at which time they are cleared. |

| Hi, I have a problem with epg grabber since I've done a fresh installation of XP. Before this everyting worked fine with Epg, even with this svn, I'm pretty shure. I've tested everything. Different drivers, svns, mysql mssql, select just one channel and so on. But after Transponder change TV server wont react anymore and I have to restart the service: 2008-05-13 12:55:43.437500 [5]: EPG: grabber initialized for 38 transponders.. 2008-05-13 12:55:48.859375 [8]: EPG: grabber stopped.. 2008-05-13 12:56:05.421875 [8]: EPG: grabber initialized for 38 transponders.. 2008-05-13 12:56:08.390625 [5]: epg:Grab for card:#3 transponder #1 index:1/3 last:01.01.2000 00:00:00 type:3 freq:11597000 mod:20 sr:22000 bw:8 pol:2 2008-05-13 12:56:08.468750 [5]: grab epg card:#3 transponder: #1 ch:CNBC Europe 2008-05-13 12:56:11.031250 [5]: Epg: card:3 start grab DVBS:tv:CNBC CNBC Europe Freq:11597000 ONID:1 TSID:1026 SID:10030 PMT:72E FTA:True LCN:182 SymbolRate:22000 Modulation:ModQpsk Polarisation:LinearV InnerFecRate:RateNotSet DisEqc:None band:Universal Pilot:NotSet RollOff:NotSet 2008-05-13 12:57:13.140625 [13]: dvb:mhw ready MHW 0 titles found 2008-05-13 12:57:13.140625 [13]: dvb:dvb ready.EPG 3 channels 2008-05-13 12:57:13.187500 [13]: Epg: card:3 no epg found 2008-05-13 12:57:36.921875 [5]: epg:Grab for card:#3 transponder #2 index:0/2 last:01.01.2000 00:00:00 type:3 freq:11778000 mod:20 sr:27500 bw:8 pol:2 2008-05-13 12:57:36.937500 [5]: grab epg card:#3 transponder: #2 ch:CNN Int. If I disable this option "grab while idle", grabber won't find any epg data while timeshifting. Has anybody an idea? Thanks Matze SORRY!!! It was just because of the wrong date on my computer! all fine! Last edited by Matze; 2008-04-16 at 10:00. |

| I've noticed that if I remove some channels from my ALL Channel groups, I see the following: 1) in tv guide mode, entering in a channel number goes to the correct channel 2) in fullscreen TV mode, entering in a channel number goes to the wrong channel Thx |

Country: | I am having two problems with this latest SVN: 1. EPG works fine for dvb-t cards but if I install a FireDTB S2 card then the epg crashes the tvservice after a while. Also if it doesnt crash it then it can randomly wipe the epg. If I go into the databas e an disable the EPG for the S2 card then its fine (but obviosly no epg entries for the satellite channels) 2. and this is prob not TVServer - but the latest SVN on mediaportal - but just for reference! I cannot watch HD channels via the S2 card - it opens the viewer and I see ffa loaded but the viewer stays black. If I use graphedit then I can play back the Hd ts stream. I also notice that the graph thats successful is different from the one Mediaportal uses. (MPV is not linked in the MP one) oh - and multi server still isnt working :-| oh - just checked it again - looks like leaving the s2 card enabled but removing the feed from the dish also works.. just run for 12 hours straight without a crash but if I reconnect the dish tvservice will crash within 30 mins...
