Hi,
it's not a problem of MediaPortal, but there's a easy solution for it: In Windows XP ore Vista it is possible to mount a drive at a Mountpoint (a little bit as in Linux). At first, create a root-path-folder for your drives. Now create a folder for each single drive. After that, use the drive-control (in system control of your Windows) to give a partition (ore drive) a new path. Choose the new folders to connect your drives with them. At least, tell MP where the "root-folder" is. Thats it. It's really easy ...

ok.. so

I have D:/videos1 , E:/videos2 and F:/videos3

I have to create a new folder somewhere else like "C:/new root videos/"

then i go into device manager / manage disc managment ?? and somehow mount the videos folders to the "New root videos" folder ???

then tell MP to look at "C:/new root videos/"

Im hoping this is correct. thanks allot for your time.

Cheers

Hi,
You can't mount folders on disc managment. Complete partitions only! That's the way i solved these problems on my HTPC ...

If you want to use the database views, there is no need for that. Just add each folder and then swith your view in MP from SHARED to something else.

However, if you want to stay in sSHARES view, you will have to look at other methods. You can also search here for junction.
