Automatically display movie info?

Is it possible to default the opening of a folder to automatically show IMDB info? It would be sort of like using the TV Series plugin, but for movies. Is this currently possible or do I have to suggest it for MediaPortal 2?

Try MyFilms plugin. It needs to build an ANT database but after you'll have all you want.

Cool. I thought that that was only for your DVD collection, but it actually can keep info on your digital file film collection as well? I'll have to check that out.

Edit: I've tested the plugin now, and it sorta does what I need, but it's very much work for something that's really easily generated by MediaPortal itself already. Also, the IMDB screens that belong to a skin is mostly better looking than the My Films plugin present it IMHO.

i also would like to display imdb page as default action instead of automatically opening file.

Use the built in database.. If you searched up the imdb info all you have to do is change the view to 'title'.. and use list view to get the info as you browse trough your movies.
