Default Custom movie trailer/intro

I have created my own 20-second intro that I would to play before every movie. I can't seem to find a good way to do this. My first thought was to add it to the database as a file, before the movie file. However MP doesn't seem to treat this as a playlist. In other words it doesn't play the first file and then move on to the second one. Is there an easy way to do this?

I'm guessing this is currently not possible. Meedio had a pre-movie manager that did this task. MP appears to have no such function/plugin.

there's no easy way to do this at the moment.
If the file was in a folder with exactly the same name as a movie, but with a 1 and a 2 at the end then 1 will play first, but that would mean a lot of setting up time on your part.

Evil Dead 1.divx ( <- pre movie)
Evil Dead 2.divx ( <- actual movie)

It's been asked a few times, usually to add the THX or Dolby to the beginnings, but I think at this stage it's considered there are more important things to work on.

I'm happy to be proved wrong though

hi i just made myself a intro aswell. i realy want to have like a pre-movie manager as someone nicely put it. anyone found that or anyway to do it. to make a playlist all the time is not something i would be happy to make to all the movies. perhaps we could make it as a suggestion for media portal 2 ?
