did anyone manage to resolve the issue with the following error:

22/06/2006 12:50:25 Exception: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8004020E): Cannot modify or delete an object that was added using the COM+ Admin SDK (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004020E)
at XPBurn.COM.IDiscRecorder.QueryMediaType(Int32& fMediaType, Int32& fMediaFlags)

Mine is still coming up, I've not managed to track down a new media type yet. Although it seems strange that the media type would result in an exception in the code. It looks more like perhaps I dont have some components registered/installed??

I just tried the Burner plugin together with the new myburner.xml. First thing I noticed, is that it looks weird on a 1080i resolution with the fixed height and width for the background. Also the status bar at the bottom should scale to the whole screen.

I fixed the background but I am too shy to do the status bar as I am no skinner. :-)

Any intention to fix that in one of the next releases?

Cheers

Hey Rogue,

I had nothing to do with the Skin file. I just used Gucky's previous one that was in CVS.
Please have a go at fixing the skin if you think it doesnt scale well Put it this way....I probably wont be!!

If someone can point me at another bit of code that does the same thing, then yeah. Just need something to base my code on...

Trouble is this whole process takes about 20 seconds to complete (from a 2.5GB file) and the DVD drive doesnt appear to come into action at all.

I have tried various video files and various discs all to no avail. When I turned the debugging on the temp folder has things in it but the iso inside is 0 Bytes.

Is there any simple fix to this problem?

Cheers, Dave.
Got exactly the same problem :?

@egonspengleruk
I´m using WinXP SP2, just tell me what detail infos (from logs etc.) you may need to trace this problem.

thanks in advance.

Can you send me a screenshot of the Temp folder so I can see what files you have/havent.
Also, can you post the log file.......have a search for "MyBurner" to get you to the right place.

Nope...all the code is built in. No codecs needed.
However I wouldnt recommend using MyBurner to do DVR-MS conversions. Use the one in MyTv instead as this is being developed. The one in MyBurner isnt and to be honest it doesnt always work. Not my code
