Default Subtitles

I also had a similar problem a couple of days ago. I checked that first of all that subtitles was enabled in Mediaportal Setup>Movies>Subtitles. But still had the problem with no Subtitles in both Media Player 11 and Mediaportal.

I then reinstalled Ace Mega Codec Pro Pack v6.03, and it was then working fine in both Media Player 11 and Mediaportal. It is also important to have the subtitle file (.srt) in the same directory as your movie.

The important codec I believe is VobSub. I hope this helps

I use ffdshow codec, it read MPEG4 codecs and is able to read subtitle from various format, you have to make sure you enable the subtitle reding in the Video Decoder configuration to make it work.

It will always work after that, I wish I could disable them on the fly sometimes, but I think I'll file a wish list about it...
