Ok, i see the ISO bug now.
It seems a bit uneccessary...
I will try to remove the mounting procedure, but its buried down in the file scanning method.

I'll get back

If a movie subfolder has an iso, MP mounts the iso and tries to get the name from that. Would you be able to delete that function?
The dll is now updated to deal with this. It now uses its folder name for search query and does not auto mount the image. The dll is found at post 29

Now when base functionality is done it is quite easy to compile for any svn version.

Keep me posted...

Thank you Solis, you rule!!! In my opinion this (almost) fixes one of many irritating default features of MP. If it could be done in the configuration module it would be even more awesome!

As we say in good Swedish; TACK SOM FAN!!!

Thanks. I'm glad it's useful.

I'll begin to implement is as a plugin with an autoupdate feature, so its not dependent of svn release.
As said before, the downside is then that it is not integrated in the built in MyVideos as today, but in configuration it will be possible to get more advanced in the setup for IMDB scanning.

Thanks once again Solis66! Think you could make a build for RC1? Thanks!

Ok. Done...
Here it is. The WindowsPlugins.dll for MP RC1
Download: WindowPlugins.dll.

Since I haven't installed RC!, this one is not tested, but should work since there are no differences in GuiVideoFiles after the later svn:s.

I also made a small addition to this one. On context menu there is one extra choice: IMDB: Search in title.

If you have a folder with mixed movies you can now right click and and get info from filename if needed. Default in this dll is, as you know, the folder name, which isn't so good for folders with several different movies.

Enjoy.

Oh, by the way. I tried to mod Configuration.exe so when you scan your shares in Configuration, it also uses foldername as search string.
Hope this one works as well... (also untested).

Wow cool! I'll test the config file as soon as I find the time. Will post results here!

Thanks, solis66, for your great work. However, I am not able to try it given rapidshare's horrible download policies. Would you be able to place the files elsewhere?
