OK, now I have uploaded the files om MegaUpload.com as well.

WindowPlugins.dll
Configuration.exe

Try these links instead, the files are still for MP RC1.

Many thanks, solis66! I wil try the new files and report any feedback.

Install it, then push Info on the root folder where your movies are and select Scan. It will go through all the subdirs using subdir names instead of the filenames inside the subdirs for the movie database.

Ok so it works by pressing the imdb button. BTW is there a shortcut for that.

My question is does it have thumps before i search the folder

And can i search for more folders than one?

fixed

Is it possible to modify the scan so that it skips folders named CD1, Sample and so on?

My Movies are in one folder, every movie in it's own folder. An example:

\Leffoja2\Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid\CD1\BCatSK.CD1.PiTChUS.avi
\Leffoja2\Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid\CD2\BCatSK.CD2.PiTChUS.avi

I want MediaPortal to open the folder (!) "\Leffoja2\Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid\" in zoom player and neither of those files. Zoom Player itself will open both files through it's own matching system.

Now when I try to scan that folder with MP it finds either one of those avi files (and I need to manually find the right movie in imdb) or when using this modified dll it finds one movie called "Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid", one called "CD1", one called "CD2" and one more called "Sample"... Then it searches for those in imdb and gets some ridicilous results... Moving the files from CD# to the root folder is not an option cause I need to seed those files in torrent.

Hi all,
Sorry about the delay. The work on the plugin have not progressed as I hoped., due to a heavy workload at work and a computer crash at home.

Have the previous uploaded files worked as expected?
If so, I can continue on that work. I hope I can have something in a couple of weeks.

See you...

Hey Solis66,

Thanks again for the foldername scan functionality. I was wondering, why don't you submit your changes to the codebase? I works great and it's something that everyone seems to want and like.
