Country: | Hi I'm running TV3 with the latest SVN and are trying too use the Videoeditor. I having a couple of questions. I am recording my films in .ts format and when i try to split the file i got a message "Unsupported file type". Doesn't the Videoeditor support .ts recordings. If I trying to split a .mpeg file and have a Comskipfile it correctly identify it but when i select to use it i got at message about un compatible file format. However in the case with .ts the Comskipfile seams to work. Anders |

Country: | I am trying to use this plugin with the 0.2.3.0 final release and cutting seems to work ok. However, I cannot convert the dvr-ms file (.ts recordings from TV3 engine) to mpg. First, if I go to the plugin after starting MP but before playing TV, the plugin does not recognise the .ts files at all (that is when I select the dvr-ms to mpg conversion no files are shown). If I first play TV at least for a while (sometimes I have to repeate it) and then go to the plugin, the plugin finds all the saved .ts recordings and I can initiate the conversion. Then it looks like the plugin is processing the file (there is a progress bar for a little while - very short while indeed), MP asks me whether I want to delete the original file (no difference whether I select yes or no) and .... ... no mpeg file is saved anywhere in the PC. I am using TV3 and the new ts reader. Anyone can help? Many thanks. DS |

Country: | Hi DarellS, VideoEditor actually can handle dvr-ms files (recorded with the default TV-Engine TV2, not TV3). Additionally it can handle Mpeg-files. TS-files (recorded with TV3) are not supported, yet. Regards Ralph

Hi gabryumts, no news right now. Kaybe is still in Portugal but will be back next week. I think he should have more time after that, to look into this. Regards Ralph

Country: | Hi guys! I have the following issue with the VideoEditor plugin: When starting VideoEditor plugin within MP, i got a preview picture for about half a second, then the video screen turns black. When I restart the VideoEditor, I neither have this half second of seeing the video. I am able to spool within the video i chose to cut (i can hear the sound of the video), am able to cut it, am able to convert dvr.ms into mpeg and mpeg into divx, but i never have a working video preview in VideoEditor. MP is the newest 0.2.3.0, i also tried to install ffdshow and svn, but didn't fix the problem. Other videos can be played fine within MP, so it isn't a general problem with videoplaying. Any suggestions? Greetings, ned Last edited by ned_flanders; 2007-12-17 at 12:53. |

What codecs are you using? FFDShow for video and TV? I would 'guess' it is a codec as the video is created by MP Core not the plugin itself unless that has changed recently. Keep up the good work to all the team, Ralph, Kaybe and Brutus. ![]()

Seems to be an issue on his old configuration. As far as I know he got a new pc-case and his new installation works fine, now. Thanks for your assistance. Regards Ralph

Country: | Now that gemx has added that long awaited feature I tried to cut the pre- and post recording minutes. At first it looked like being successful but then I realized that it didn't respect the end point and therefore only cut the beginning. So only half the job is done ![]() |
