Country: | Hi guys, sorry for the delay, daughters big college start tomorrow, so busy making sure she is getting settled in digs ok. Right back to why no recoding, the only thing i can think of is my codecs, i use powerDVD8, this also installs the divx codec with it, also use the cccp (combined comunity codec pack), other wise on xp sp3, there is nothing else codec related i have installed. Hope this may help, as it has to be something stupidly simple we are over lookingl.

| Portal Member | I have a notebook with intel processor and a mediacenter with amd. the software environment are same (codecs, version #, etc). The notebook can convert from dvr-ms to mpeg but the mediacenter can not. I think the problem will be there. Can confirm it anybody? btw, thanks for this section in mp. edit: i have another idea for this problem. The videoEditor does not work with dual core processors.. | Portal Member | A couple of quick comments. First, I actually like the fact that the playback pauses when repositioning through a file (at least a .ts file). I need to do more testing, but the behavior (in RC2) seems to be much like in 0.2.2.0, which several of us preferred. I felt like I was playing whack-a-mole trying to set a mark at the right position when playback immediately started after bumping by a 1 second slice. Second, this was the first time I tried to edit on my new system config, including a dual-core AMD 5200+. All seemed to work just fine for cutting the file. As for converting .ts->.mpeg or .ts->divx/.avi, I think I need to chase down MCEBuddy, or chase down documentation on running mencoder manually. |

Country: | Hi joystick Can you elaborate on the sub directory bit, as not sure what you are having problems with. Thanks.
