Country: | I have lots of dvd's of tv-series, stargate, buffy etc. that i wish to import into the tv series plugin but they are in .vob and it seems they need to be in an avi format to plugin correctly to the tv series database etc. I have tried to use fair use wizard but that took 3 hours to convert 1 episode on my AthlonX2 4400 desktop...can someone recommend anything better or tell me how to like vob's or iso's to the tv series plugin? Country: | I know it is still converting but try staxrip it works well for dvd conversion which is what you are essentially doing. I assume it will be quicker then 3 hours per episode as it was around 3 hours to convert a whole movie to h264 at great quality on my old 4200+. With xvid or something it should be way faster. Actually if you have access to nero recode, it has the fastest ever mpeg4 simple codec I have ever seen. I remember seeing it at 120fps or something like that.

Country: | Hi, Rustoni. A .VOB file is a .MPG file renamed. If you rename the file to .MPG, there are a lot of programs to convert MPG to AVI. Try this... convert mpg to avi - Buscar con Google |

Country: | I would try Staxrip though as it really is quite easy. @rustoni the file should play but there are some limitations changing it, you wont get subtitles or anything like that.
