Can grab extra information from a linked sub-page. Has a time based feature to cut down on the number of web requests.

Anyone interested in developing a config for for another site, I'm happy to help. I am often in IRC, via PM or email (see address in txt file). Also send any updates to existing config files.

Cheers,

/James

To all aussies,

The ebroadcast.com.au site has changed its format today :-( Removing all pages that used for grabbing the EPG from. This means that until further notice the WebEPG cannot grab the australia guide. I will start working on getting the guide information from the d1 site instead.

Cheers,

/James

Sorry just started to look at this. Question:

We know that MP will associate tv guide by matching exactely the channel name. It is said that channel names are configureable, in order to do so all I need is to change the full name tag in the individual xml file and this will not affect grabbing the correct information because what's important is the channel id tag?

Just to make sure I understood correctly.

You create the "names" in the config app. Those need to be identical to the ones MP uses.

Default Norwegian update BETA 0.1.0

All (two?) Norwegians using Web-epg please update using these files:

Delete grabbers/NO dir, and use this instead.
Delete channels/NO dir, and use this instead.

NEW: More channels ex. showtime, and The Voice TV.
FIXED: "never-ending" last show of the day.

Grabber-info:

NO/fredag_dagbladet_no -
fredag.dagbladet.no is a good grabber, but currently lack genre-grabbing. The server is a bit unstable, and suffers by the workload generated by the XMLTV-grabber for Norway.

NO/www_sol_no -
www.sol.no has good "linked descriptions," and the server is stable and fast. Genre grabbing implemented. THE BEST grabber for Norway.

This also will be in a newer release by James.

I've been after something like this for a while....thank you.

If it's not too much trouble I'd also like to see the use of the ninemsn guide.

The channel één is indeed there, but xml is like html, and does not understand the character "é".

Channels affected is:

één
Be Ciné 1
Be Ciné 2

[has been updated - se next post]

Then all should be found by the config app.
