| Ladies and Gents, Hi all, as you may or may not know we in Australia are having some troubles with access to online EPG data. Given the events of the past week I felt it time we attempt to show a united front to the powers that be in the EPG arena. As such I have created an online petition. I would ask that each of you read and sign the petition and make any comment you feel necessary (though please remember that agressive comments will not be as well viewed as carefully constructed feedback). You can sign up at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/EPG_OZ/ I would ask that each of you inform friends and relatives of the petition if they are not in a position to read this thread. I will also be posting this information to www.dvbowners.com and www.xpmediacenter.com.au. Please feel free to post about it on any other boards where PVR users live. Even overseas ones as we could use feedback from those that do have a free EPG in their country. Lets show them WHY the HAVE to consider an EPG for Australia!!! Cheers, Arkay. P.S. Mods, please sticky this if you can. I'd like to raise as much response as possible from all parts of the world! Thanks ![]() |

| As one poster on the petition said, "You can't schedule TV shows to record "at the click of a button” as MS advertises" (In regards to MS MCE). Would it be possible to force the EPG issue by accusing MS of false advertising and have consumer affairs chase this up as the product does not work as stated? |
