Channels out of order

Ok, Im using Zap2it to get my channel line up. As you can see in the attached photo, the channels are out of order.
I've read that the MPChannelUpdater plugin does not work for this problem for Zap2it.

How do i get them inorder? Do i have to manually edit something or is there a snazzy plugin?

Hi,

Just go into the configuration.exe(Setup) and under Television->TV Channels
and click on the "channel" (NOT "Channel name") colum header.

i know this has been discussed many times before, but i was hoping there was a change.

is there any way to map the channels instead of using the zap2it names. obviously zap2it needs the 1025 Jewelry name, but could media portal map that to just say Jewelry?

I think you are thinking of the internal MP XMLTV import.

With the zap2it plugin, you can name your channels anything you want.
A name like "1025 Jewelry" would not help/be used in establishing EPG mapping at all with the zap2it plugin.

(I would recommend waiting to rename you channels until after the mapping has been established. )
