Hi James, thanks for the fix, I only had time yesterday to check the latest SVN build but it works for me now.

Default ščťž in EPG

Hi,
please help with ščťž in downloaded xml from ww.parabola.cz.
EPG in MP shows unreaded characters instead of diacritics.
I have tried the .xml file with "windows-1250" changed, posted here, but with no change.
I have installed the latest SVN version, but it doesn´t work, the problem still occures.

Thanks

Some people are saying its working others not?

I need more info from anyone who is still having a problem, please provide some more information. MP & SVN version, WebEPG log.

Also first make sure that your www_parabola_cz.xml file has encoding="windows-1250" in it.

Also check the tvguide.xml file and see what characters are in there.

James, thank you for you interest.
Yes, I have bad characters in the TVguide.xml too.
I have these "1250" lines in my "..parabola.." xml file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1250" ?>
<Site url="http://www.parabola.cz/program.php?tvs1=[ID]&tvday=[DAY_NAME]" post="" external="false" encoding="windows-1250" />
I'm using this version of MP:
svn--02-08-2007--20-03-Rev12903
I cannot find any WEBepg.log like file.

My System

Default

Hi folks,

I made it working some time ago, I also had these troubles, I forgot all details, but now my working "..parabola.." xml file has
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<Site url="http://www.parabola.cz/program.php?tvs1=[ID]&tvday=[DAY_NAME]" post="" external="false" encoding="windows-1250" />
I'm using MP 0.2.2 stable.
difference is in the first of the two lines.

Good luck, MP is great! And thanks James, wepEPG is one of the most important features in MP for me!

I tried almost all combinations of "utf-8" and "windows-1250" encodings in the ...parabola.xml... file, but the result is still the same - bad characters in tvguide.xml and MP.
Has anybody other ideas ?
Thanks.

djurik,

Are you still having a problem? If so can you try the latest SVN and see if it is still there?

/James
