raf - PM me with some details of your setup. Are you running the program remotely? Nobody else has ever reported this problem, and the error log says the computer can't find a file on the local disk.

In particular, tell me the contents of your data directory.

Dugg runs stand alone, so I can run it of my work PC in the office and transfer the tvguide via memory stick to my MP machine.

Throw a dart in the far Nortn East corner where South Australia meets Queensland and you may find me.
WebEPG is still a stand alone program and it still produces a TvGuide.xml file.

I'm not saying that it produces the best guide for Australia at the moment. Just trying to correct a few misconceptions.

Really great. Well done!!!
Channeldupe doesnt seem to work though.
This is the first few lines of the dugg.ini file

Code:
channel=2
channel=45
channel=35
channel=48
channel=46
channel=38

channelswap
38
SBS
Channeldupe
Channel 38
Channel SBS Digital

channelswap
2
ABC2
I have tried both channel names eg 38 and SBS but never seem to get duplicate channel data in the tvguide.xml file

Have I done something wrong and where do I find the error log.
Cheers

You used the wrong name in channeldupe. You got it right in channelswap.
Why are you putting the word "Channel" in front of the channel names ?

It should read :
channeldupe
38
SBS Digital

And also, people are putting in ALOT of un-necessary channelswaps.

When you put :
channel=2
it will grab this channel and name it according to the list given in dugg.ini
So it will automatically be called "ABC2" without the need for a channelswap.

You only need channelswap if you want to choose another name like "ABC Two"

And the error log is only generated if the program crashes. It will be in the dugg directory but if there's nothing there, it's because it's never crashed.

Thanks for the quick response. You are THE MAN.

My confusion with the channel name came about from your example in instruction.txt.

Code:
Usage Example
	channeldupe
	Channel Nine
	Channel Nine High Def
I thought you had named the channel "Nine" and the line required the prefix command channel but it is now apparent that you had named it "Channel Nine"

Well done for clearing that up for me thanks again.
