How Do I map the channels to the EPG?

Hi

My first try with mediaportal and have been trying to figure out how I get the channels mapped to the EPG data I cant see anywhere I can do this. In media portal MYTV the channels appear and play OK. eg I get BBC1 and it plays but no EPG then next channel is BB ONE and it has EPG data but wont play. Whats the secret of mapping the two together please??

I am very confused.

Hi

The names in the channel list and those coming from the EPG must be identical.

Then theyÂ´ll merge.
Example: Rename your tuned stations to match the name of those with populated EPG data.

also, if you match those names with TV icon images and place them in MediaPortal/Thumbs/TV/ then you will have the station logos in the EPG too.
