Default How to get WebEPG started

Hello!

I'm trying to get WebEPG to work. It might be that I just dont understand how the program works, anyway, please set me straight.

Here's what is going on. I'm starting the webepg config, but its empty. I would expect it to be filled with channels so I can do the mapping. If I press the import button under Import Channel data nothing happens. I then hear about logs supposed to be written under the log directory. I don't have a log directory?

I'm running TV server and SVN build 17368 from 2008-02-10.

Hi & welcome to MP forum.
For now you can't import from TVE3 only from old TVEngine in MP, so in order to use WebEPG you need to name the channels yourself:
In new channel add the name you have in TVE3 & add -> Mark the new channel & map with channel or in grab details(site) select one to match & continue to add the rest. When finished click save & start WebEPG.exe to grab for the first time.

Regards
Roy

Ok, so I've added all the channels manually, finally found the logs under the ProgramData folder and it seems that webepg contacts the website (dagenstv.com) and writes the tvguide.xml file in the xmltv dir. But guess what, it doesn't show up in mediaportal. Anything more that I need to do that isn't written in the guides?

I finally found this with all my answers

XmlTv - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation
