'tvguide.xml needs to be in the same directory as the xmltv.dtd file. You can copy this over then it will work.' And that worked. | |

| @James First to say i love your webepg. It is much much better than xmltv. I use it for a long time now. But the new file/directory structure is not very logical for me. Double files in different folders. When i run config it creates the webepg.xml in the webepg folder. But to run webepg, it needs the webepg.xml in the MP Root folder ? Possible it has something to do with the packed CVS from High ? For me it is not very clear wich file is needed in wich folder ;-) Greets Michael |

| Portal Tester | @James: Unfortunately not working for me on the first try...I copied the latest CVS from 2005_12_7, but when updating it still gets a very small file (274kb) and shows this time almost nothing in the MP-EPG. Just a very small number of channel were shown. On my second try, the .xml-File is better. As i could see from last successfull results with the older version, my .xml should be about 1mb. The file created on my second try is 895kb. Now it is better then before, but still several channels without program on the actual day (XXP, DasVierte, Phoenix, Arte, Terranova). From the next day, most programs are correct. So I made a 3rd try to confirm...Now the .xml get to nearly 1.2 MB. But again nearly no EPG was shown in MP... I do now send you all.log and .xml via Email, so maybe you could check again. Desperately yours ;-) Paloema |

| Hello guys, sorry but It seems that I am not clever enough. So I installed a new RC2. Setup all my channels and everything is working so far. I am usin a Hauppauge HTVR 1300 Card and this is connected to cable television in germany. So what are the steps to enable webepg now?? In the "F2" configuration "Television" "program guide" there is nothin to setup for webepg? When looking at "scheduler" under "grabber" there is ""tv_grab_de_tvtoday" Parameters is empty I tried to start "Run grabber" a dos box opens and "UK_channels" are grabbed and it takes more than 1 hours to finish???? Still result is none! Then I went to the Media Portal folder and run "Webepg" it seems to be that nothing is happening. Can someone please be so kind and give me a step by step help?? Andreas |
