Default Scheduling only NEW Updates in WebEPG

Is there any way I can tell WebEPG to just download new data?

I like to keep a week's data the EPG. So I configured WebEPG to grab 7 days data. I run WebEPG daily to keep a full week's data in the EPG. However, every time I run WebEPG.exe (or use the WebEPG grabber plugin) it downloads all the data again (plus one new day). Am I missing something or is this just the way it works?

This is how it currently works. If you are using the old database in MP and not the TV Server then it checks the database and doesn't download any sublinked pages, for existing guide data.

I have always planned to improve this. However, on some sites it is not possible and the schedules can be changed.

OK, Thanks. I am using the old database in MP (TVDatabaseV21.db3) and not the TV Server. I was thinking of something as simple as checking the database and if EPG is there for the current date, then go to the day (time if possible) where the EPG data ends and download data from there. However, I can see from looking at various grabber files that it would not be easy or possible to project x number of days on some sites. This could be an option though for sites that would support it.

We have lots of plans for you James! Were you planning to have a life?

Actually, I was just thinking, is it possible to use [DAY_OFFSET] for what I want to do? I mean tell WebEPG to start after 7 days. Then I can just update one day, each day, using the WebEPG Grabber plugin but it will pull the data from 7days hence. Will that work?

If not, maybe you could add a parameter to the Grab Days in WebEPG Config to say 1,+7 meaning grag one day seven days later, or something like that.
