| Portal Member | i have successfully (sort of) set up web epg for foxtel and FTA, im having a few issues though which im desperate to sort out, then im all done fer now ![]() my guide in MP is 14 hours out, im running the Tvengine3 if it makes a difference. I looked last night and the programs it shows at 10:30 pm were on at 8.30am that day. Is there a setting to download it in the right zone, ive played with the time compensation adjustment in tv3 under xmltv plugin, but im pretty sure thats got nothing to do with webepg right? my timezone in the (either webepg.xml or the grabber file for oztivo-sorry im at work cant remember which one) states its set for grenich mean time i think, can i just type in Perth west australia somehow? ive also got the problem that alot of channels are missing all data, have not really looked into this yet but i am assuming/hoping that its a typo or something for that channel file id/name/connection looking forward to some help, its getting very frustrating, ive tried to delete the tvguide file and write a new one but it doesnt change anything, ive read somewhere about deleting a tvdatabase file, tried that it wrote a new one with the same wrong info. |

You need to delete the program database table before you reimport otherwhise you will see no difference. (I recommend to also re-grab your webepg since the TV-server won't import the same WebEPG.xml twice.)Quote:
-level20peon EDIT: I noticed that the offset is not correct so you have to test some settings. I live in GMT+1 but have to set the offset to -2.

Country: | Please search the forum for editing the database (its no file you simply can delete). By re-grabbing the web-epg I mean you simply execute the "WebEPG.exe" in the MediaPortal folder. You might have to rescan your channels and just don't rename then, this might do the trick for the missing data. Sorry I cannot help with the database "problem" right now, g2g catch up with you later -level20peon

Country: | The "Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition" is the database provided on the TV-Server snapshot pages. It is also possible to use MySQL. You should have a look into your startmenu it should be there somewhere. -level20peon
