TVguide-writing.xml stops at 3kb

Hehehe, tror du "banna" litt i kjerka her nå med GBPVR

Most probably this it's due to unicode definition on sol pages which it's wrong(you can test this with open sol & use page coding in IE, it will show up with wrong æøå), this it's solved with TVE3 & XMLTV Importer(a new version of sol it's availible in MP SVN, same goes for dagbladet). So if importer in GBPVR supports coding it should be fine with the latest we have (afaik)

My TVguide-writing.xml also stops at 3kb.

I didn't understand the way to fix it, which "_" should I remove?, in case my problem is the same as frank 75's.

After FATAl ERROR it says in Spanish: "invalid URI: URI format can't be determined"

It seems as the URL is not correct. When I enter the address in a browser it links immediatly to another page. Try removing this channel to see of the other work better.

OK. I changed the web for the french channel and finally the TVGuide was written!

Let's see know if I learn how to update the guide and all the things related to it.

Well, the first issue I encountered after getting the TVGuide to be written is that now the dates o the guide are having problems to be transferred to Media Portal.

I have two cards (one satellite and the other TDT) and only the first one has got the channels guide. I tried to refresh the EPG but again it grabbed the guide just for only one card.
