Smile WEBEPG that came with mp

Hello.
I have the latest mp installed . Everything works except web epg.
I have run the webepg conf .exe in team meida prortal \ folder both webepg.exe and webepgconf.exe
i Have set the tvguide.ml file location in config to this directory.
I have also tred to runn the grabber
by pressing run grabber which says that the graaaveber does not exist i have check that. g its there and it is..

It claims that it needs an xmltv fiolder. I want to use the 2 applications that came with mp. how do i do this?
It looks to me that this is some hybrid.

Ihope that someone knows what is going on.

Hi,
What have you installed(MediaPortal+TV Server/TVPlugin or))?
If you run MediaPortal-conf.exe you can manually setup which channel(channelname in MP) to which grabber site it should use.

Regards
Roy

WebEPG saves the file to the c;\program files\team-mediaportal\mediaportal\xmltv folder by default, this folder has a DTD file in it for WebEPG to work, make sure its there.

if using TVServer the plugin xmltv needs to be activated and pointed to the mediaportal\xmltv folder, this can be set to auto run after webepg has downloaded the tvguide, you also need to scan and check the channels are correct before saving them in the xmltv plugin to.

Hope this helps.

I have only the stable version w/o tv version. souldn't this work without xmltv beening installed?

I like those apps when you can mark what you want insstead if cmd line utilites. the webepg.exe btw does not tell you much
