Nope the one in TV-Server Configuration -> Plugins -> XMLTV -> Mappings & load + map & save.

Hi,
thanks for the howto - it works fine for me when importing manually, but i got an error each time a new file is imported automatically.
After a new tvguide.xml is created i got the attached error.
If i press "Import" in the TV-Server Plugin, the file is imported correct.
Anybody an idea, why this happens?

, Roy, that seems to have done it.
I had to "force import" to get the data in, even though it has reported success all along.

I am still confused about how the radio channel EPG is supposed to work.
Will radio programs appear mixed in with the TV programs, or is there a separate "Radio Guide"?
How can I find likely sources of Radio EPG info? Google hasn't brought me anything useful.

No experience with epg for radio, i only use dvb-t grabber for that

Help!!
I have tried to get the EPG up and running but seem, to fail on the last step (I am using RC2 with TV server). I am fine with the WebEPG and get a valid TVGuide.XML. I active and import the XMLTV plugin in the TV Server plug congif page and succesfully get 6 channels and 2989 programs imported. BUT when I start up media portal I get no guide information on the TV guide page. I have tried waiting but never get any % updates. Any help would be much appreciated.

ARRRGG! I must be an exceptional dummy because I can't get this to work no matter how closely I follow the instructions or no matter how many times I try. I have done everything exactly as instructed but I still don't get any information when I open the tv guide in MP. I have done all of the following:

Configured WebEPG
Created the TVguide-writing.xml file
Correctly set the path for the XMLTV plugin
Mapped the channels correctly in the same plugin
Hit the force import button and it says tvguide.xml:no programs found(i do have 6 channels imported, which are all the channels I need), I'm not sure what programs are.
I've also been sure to hit the save button after mapping in the xmltv plugin on the mapping tab

*** As I checked my WebEPG log because I was going to include it I noticed it says no listings and grabber error!! I'm assuming that is why I'm not getting my tv guide info. Still I don't know why this is happening.******

So when I open media portal and check the tvguide I get nothing, only the channels but no info. This has got me ripping my hair out. I'll include my epg log, but it shows that the info was retrieved.(I think)
I am new to MP and would appreciated any help. Also I live in the US if that make any difference.

Hi your log shows that no linsting were found. I had the same problem with the tv.yahoo site. I used the minnie_tuhs_org site. But this requires you to setup an account on the site and then add the following line to your WebEPG.xml. Note everytime you run the webepg config it will delete this line so you need to add it back manually

Search for some other posts on the authentication topic and you should find some instructions on how to setup your account.

From what I could tell that site is for Australian users, is that correct. I live in the US, do they provide program guides for the US? As well I couldn't find the authorization stuff you where talking about. Thanks though. I did some more searching around and found out the the yahoo site doesn't work for the US(bummer). I couldn't find a decent option for the US. The best option is schedule direct or something like that but it is a pay service. I have read about GBPVR using the windows media center EPG for their program data, does anyone know if that is a possibility? Unfortunately I just don't have the knowledge for some of the more complex things like trying to edit xml files and such. I appreciate all the support though.

Here is that link to the MCE grabber, I just don't know how about making MP look for the right xml file or what I would need to do?
Any thoughts?
