Hi Simmo,

I seems to be working here. I did however, mess it up a few changes ago and then CVS was down. So please give a new SVN version a try and then see if you still have the same problem.

/James

Hello James,

I have something strange at least since the 02-04 svn and now still in the 04-04 svn: several channels are showing for today in the tvguide what was actually yesterday on TV (and I have to look to tomorrow what is today on TV) while other channels show for today the correct program of today.

I am using the grabber NL\1-www.tvgids.nl and I checked out this site -just after running WEBEPG- and see here the correct programming of the programs that are shifted in MP.

I also just used the NL\2-sbs6_sbs_nl.xml grabber which gives exactly the same shift for the same programs.

Below I have pasted the 'actual tonight/shown tomorrow night' programs of channel NET5. I now notice that there is a 'start' but no 'stop' which probably is related to this issue?

Do you have any idea why both grabbers give this same issue for me? If you need other info to check somethings, please let me know.

Thanks,
Ronald

Hi Ronald2oo2,

End time is only given if it is provided by the site. If not then it will be worked out by MP. So tvgids.nl has end time, sbs.nl does not.

It seems to be working here.

tvgids.nl

There may be a problem if WebEPG is run over midnight. I will need to look into this a bit more.

Maybe some of the file didn't get updated ?

Hi James,

I just lost my reply because I was automatically logged out (never had this before:-( so I go right to my maybe far fetched theory and shorten up my reasoning, lucky you (it is far past my bedtime).

Is it possible that the one day shift that I see in the tvguide in MP is actually a problem of MP and not of the tvguide.xml? E.g. that it does not clear the tvguide (for some channels?) but appends new data?

I think that my above 20060404 NET5 code clip is correct for April 4th (since you say the missing stop is not a problem). Do you agree? Never the less this particular clip showed in the MP TVguide on April 5th! For example 'desperate housewives' -which airs once a week on Tuesday- was showing on Wednessday April 5th at 20:30 in the MP tvguide.

For April 4th however I saw in the TVguide in MP the programs that I had been watching on April 3rd !!! This program data can not even be found in my tvguide.xml

Before this I ran the no.2 \NL grabber (already had tried no.1 grabber first, had the same problems). I saw it finish around 21:00 when it dispappeared from the task manager. I actually checked if the tvguide.xml time/date corresponded and it did.

Does it make any sense to you? (to me not)

Cheers,
Ronald

Hi Guys,

I am also having wierd issues with Guide in MP. I am experienceing single shows showing up in he guide as going for an entire day, however when the show is selected the correct time is shown under the description. I have checked the tvguide.xml and MP database and both appear to have the correct times and dates.

I am using the OzTivo site for my guide data, and am pretty confident mine is an issue with MP and not WebEPG.

Found the issue with mine was WebEPG was not overwriting entries that already existed and these programs were corrupted and listed to run over 24 hours.

Deleted my previous tvGuide.xml and ran a sql 'delete from tblPrograms' and re-imported fresh and everything was ok.

I am in the USA and I am having real difficulty trying to get the tvguide in MP to work.. I can't get it to detect anything no matter what setting I put it on.. What am I doing wrong?? I can watch TV though.. I can't seem to get anyone to help me with this.. I am otherwise real happy with this program... I have MCE 2005 but that TV program freezes up after 10 minutes but your program MP does not freeze up.. That's why I am trying to get the TV guide to work..
