Question WebEPG not working if MP not on the C: drive?

I have installed MP1.0.0.0 RC2 and would like to use WebEPG as I currently do on version 0.2.2.0. But there are some problems.

On the HTPC machine windows boots from H: and MP and TV server 1.0.0.0 RC2 are installed on H:. On the development machine windows boots from C: and MP and TV client 1.0.0.0 RC2 are installed on C:

On the HTPC I can configure WebEPG. But when I run it no TVguide.xml is written. Strangly the location where it should be written (H:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\xmltv) does not exist.

On the development machine there is no problem with WebEPG, the location exists and the TVguide.xml file is written. But I still have no TV guide in MP.

Is it a problem for MP not to be installed on C: ??? Why does the application data directory not exist?

EDIT:
STUPID of me. Fresh install, hidden sytem files. The directory exists and the TVguide.xml file is OK. But why do I not see a TV guide then? The manual says I need the xmltv TV server plug-in to import the TVguide.xml file created by WebEPG. But on a forced import is shows the correct number of channels to import, shows 0 for the number of programs (there are plenty in the TVguide.xml file though) and it never shows a status; What am I doing wrong?

Is the client supposed to get the TV guide data from the TV server ??? Is that why I don't have a TVguide on the client?

EDIT:
Since the setup for TVguide only exists in the TV server setup it must be so that all clients get TV guide data from the server. That is logical and explains why I don't have a guide on the client.

You need to load and associate channel names in SetupTv->Plugins->xmltv.
And yes the guide is stored in the database of TvServer so all clients can get it from there.
Logos instead must reside on each MP client.

That I had done. The trick was to do the mapping AND save the mapping under the mapping tab. It is all automatic, so I'm not sure why I had to push those to buttons, but it worked.

TV guide works, but unfortunately things went downhill from there. See my 'Dual Boot' thread.

Thank you for your ideas.

I can't get any TV Guide info to show up in the "My TV" application. Every time I go to the SetupTv->Plugins->xmltv, the box is blank, but if I click the "Load/Refresh" button, the list populates correctly. Regardless, no matter what I do, I get no data. My TVGuide.xml file is in the correct place, but there is no data on TV programs. Only data on the TV channels themselves.

I am getting my HDTV over the air, and I'm not sure how to map the channels. I am mapping my local CBS station to CBS-Central in the Yahoo list of channels. Is there a better way to map local OTA channels to get the guide working?

Update: I found in my log file that there is a grabber error. That appears to be the reason why I am getting no data. So my question remains: Is there a better way to get local OTA data instead of using Yahoo?
