fixed WebEPG not working in Vista

Hi,

WebEPG does not seem to work for me in Vista. I just get the tvguide-writing.xml file created and it is only 1 kb. I have a dual boot with XP, and separate MP installs for each OS. WebEPG works fine in XP. I get the same problem when in Vista whether I use the XP WebEPG or the Vista installed WebEPG. I use the OZ tivo setup for WebEPG with the username and password in the XML file. I can get to the minnie site fine in Vista so it doesn't seem to be a problem with that.

Anyone else had this problem or have WebEPG working in Vista?

Cheers.

Can't test as I don't run Vista, but my guess would be that WebEPG has not been changed to write its files to the All Users location and running as a limited acount it may not be able to write the file.

I have the same thing. Looking in the logs, it seems to be crashing out at the point where it compares local and site timezone:

2007-01-03 21:18:32.141760 [Info.][1]: WebEPG: Starting

With XP on the same machine, it does the time comparison and carries on. Changing to a different grabber makes no difference, and this works fine on xp with an identical setup (fresh install in both cases).

Has anyone got this working with Vista? (any version, I'm on RTM).

That was quick :-) Working perfectly now with one grabber site.

However, and not sure if this is Vista related or simply something WebEPG doesn't like, it crashes out if you try use more than one grabber site (ie get the british channels from radiotimes, then some french channels from fr.yahoo.com).

Only in Dutch...

I tried everything, but it doesn't work, it says you fixed it, but maybe only for the English version or so?

Please help me out.

Running under Vista Business.
