Default XMLTV not showing proper show times

I have tried everything and I can't seem to get this to work. I have been able to successfully get the program listings, but it has every program off by 7 hrs. I have tried changing the configurationin MP and the .conf file for xmltv, but nothing ever seems to change.

my timezone is -0700. The .conf file shows this.

Can anyone help with this?

I tried changing the .conf file to +0000, but when i run xmltv it seems to disregard this, because it says my timezone is -0700

Hi hobbes487,

You need to go into configuration -> television -> program guide and adjust the "compensate time zone with" offset.

Put in a +7 if the times are 7 hours behind or -7 is they are 7 hour in front. Sometimes you need a +/- 1 hour because of Day light saving time.

Just have a few tries until the times match up. Between each try you can remove all the guide information by clicking the "Remove all programs from TV database" button.

I always have trouble when setting up xmltv, its logic is somewhat frustrating. I usually end up using trial and error. Gets you there in the end!
