Xface Skin Version 1.6 ready for download 09.06.2008

Hi,

I'm using latest SVN version of Xface and have a question & request:


1) When watching recorded TV and for example, when jumping back and forward, top bar shows the progress bar, start time & end time.

For recorded TV, the progress bar is just a thin red line. When playing DVD, the progress bar is much thicker and blue as I guess it should be.

Is this a bug?

2) When listing recorded TV shows, I would like that "Layout: List" would also show information about the recorded program (the "plot"), like "Layout: Icons" do on the right side of the screen.

Could this be changed?

3) MyTV EPG view has quite thick "blocks" and font for the TV programs, I think some early version of XFace was showing more programs on the screen than the current one. I think the earlier version was better.

Any chance of IMDB data showing up in shares view for this skin in the next version? Or does anyone have modded xmls to share? Also, actors etc. in TV-Series as in Monochrome, is that a possibility? X-Face is really sweet on the eyes and very fast, but as you're spoiled by the added functionality of Monochrome and such it's missing out on a big crowd, and that's too bad.

About Blu Ray,

I'm trying to edit the Basic Home Screen / Video Bar Area / MyTrailers into something that connects to the PowerDVD plugin. After installing BluRay I started a quest to fully integrate this in my MP setup. I got the plugin to work as I want (Leave MP open en start PowerDVD8 to autoload the Blu Ray disk), but since I don't use the Home Screen, but only the Basic Home Screen (with the brilliant wife apealing circular icon ring) I would really love to have some sort of link in the BHS to start BluRay. It could be added to the main ring of icons, however I would think it would be more in place in the bar area's below the ring, under the Movies section.
Autoplay is not really an option with BluRay I guess?? and I don't use MyTrailers so this would be my pick.
Since I have to start learning to programm XML from scratch I thought I would ask you and the community first, If such a thing is desired and how to proceed further.

Odd issue, If I open Mediaportal then goto My Videos I can see all the videos in there. They are iSO images of DVDs. I can launch one of them and play it. When I stop the movie, browse back to the home screen that get back into my videos there is not longer any movies listed. In fact it says 0 objects. This only happens in XFace skin. All other sins I have work well. Is there a file on the SVN I need to update? I downloaded the MyVideos.xml file but no change. I am using ver 1.6 of XFace and the latest, as of yesterday, weekly release of MP RC2. Thanks for the great skin BTW. I want this to be my default since it look incredible. Are you getting donations for it? If not you should.

Simple to correct issue (I think): When I am watching tv and I decide to go to the home menu and press my films and ask for IMDB info, I cannot read it because the tv preview is projected on the text/plot. Is there anything that can be done to that except for turning tv off?

I just install MP RC2 + Last SVN + XFACE 1.6 and MYFILMS 4.5 SVN

My films plugin don't want play movies with xface skin (Only my DVD copy .IFO can be played)

When i switch to default skin (Blue two) all movie files can played (.avi, .mkv) !

any ideas ?
