It could be your codecs, since it only happens when running media.
Try to upgrade the codecs, if possible

Codecs are a pain - but after I started to use the combined community pack, I never had any trouble.

The team suggests

NEVER EVER USE ANY CODECPACK!

the only one which does not messup your system is ffdshow (as long as you dont mess with the fancy config of it).

use the native codecs.

but this is not related to that topic!

I agree to that to a certain point. Many if not most packs really screws things up.
But this pack works fine, I use it on my HTPC and my fathers.
Its basically FFDshow, vsfilter and haali mediasplitter, and it installs mediaplayer classic.

This pack combined with Nvidia purevideo plays everything I use with no problems.
(just uninstall vobsub if you have that in your system - or you may get double subtitles)

It's true, I am using a vista codec package since switching to Vista.
Hopefully I can uninstall the installed vista codec package and hopefully this will revert the system to the normal state.

Do you think it will be enough to uninstall it, I remember that with XP best solution was to reinstall the complete system

Thanks for your help!!

@infinityloop: What do you mean with "use the native codecs"??

Best regards

I just discovered that it dosent display how much of the song has played, in minutes and second, just that slider moving. And the slider is not correct
So something that displays the remaining time of the song would be great.
This is just a small thing but I just wanted you to know, this is going to be a great skin! I love it!

list_sub_focus.png was a little too dark IMO.
So I added some contrast, and gave it a little more "spark"
Now you dont have to look twice to see what is highlighted.

I hope you dont mind Harley, but trying to focus on a song with the current one is really hard after a few beers

Great! Skin becomes more and more perfect

BTW: Uninstalling the Vista codec package seems to be the solution for my smashed skin after fullscreen mode.
After kicking it off my system the bug didn't show again yet.

I'll continue testing and if I'll find bugs I'll report them asap

Just downloaded and great skin, one | have waited for.

I am using 0.2.3.0 Rc1 + latest SVN.

I am having a problem when I go into TV Guide that my sound starts stuttering from the preview window and the guide becomes sluggish, I have tried other skins and do not have the same problem.

I will do some more testing and look at the log file and see if there is anything in there.

Anyway thanks for the great skin and I await the first relase with held breath.

Regarding the version number, I guess not.
