Country: | Because I have installed lots of times, there could be some residual dlls or config files "hanging around" if it fails again, I will try it on a "virgin" computer that has not had MP on it before. Kev |

| I get an error when trying to download data (error executing SQL statement "delete from tblPrograms" : SQL logic error or missing). Then I reset tv database in MediaPortal config, it appears to import, updating the channels in the TV guide, all seems well then all data disappears! All data for channels except ABC is gone! Can anyone help me? I've only had MP for 6 weeks now so I'm not fully versed in the ins and outs of it. Has anyone else had problems updating the EPG for Brisbane in recent days? Is it: A) a MP problem, B) the online TV guides recently changed and stuffed up the grabber, C) a "user error", D) Some other thing. Any help would be appreciated. |

Country: | Hi Jim, You are correct, there is a problem... there is a new field in the database - parentalRating - it is set to "not null" so when my app trys to inert into program it throws an error because parentalRating is null. I am not near my development computer until tomorrow but I will post a new version ASAP. Regards Kev |

| Kev, I have just installed version 0.1.1.11 and still getting the same problem on Standard MediaPortal. That is, when I import the TV guide, it appears to load perfectly for all channels then it looks like after it has completed loading all the data into MediaPortal, the program data is deleted/removed. I realise you hadn't tested it on standard MediaPortal yet, but I thought this may help. Eager to hear how you go on Standard MediaPortal. |

| Portal Member | Hey Big Kev, This is great - very user friendly, much nicer than hacking through VB or XML code! Especially good as the xml reader is, for now, broken in tve3. I was using GuideDog but I think i'll stick with your little beauty cheers, Trent PS. I using the latest svn and tve3 snapshots and it worked fine for me Last edited by lewi0146; 2007-09-09 at 13:05. Could you try version 0.1.1.8 from this link and let me know if that fixes the problem? http://members.westnet.com.au/jimbo2...upv0.1.1.8.zip Regards Kev | |

| Kev, Apologies for late reply. I'm getting the same problem with Standard MediaPortal using version 0.1.1.8. Program data is loading then is removed after loading is complete. I don't know if this helps but I noticed the programs were coloured according to their genre (so I'm guessing the problem is not to do with the genre), for the brief moment before they are removed. Also when running the "download data", I get the same SQL error as mentioned above. I am relatively new with MediaPortal so I'm not ruling out "user error" at this stage, but I would be interested in hearing if anyone else is getting the same problems as me with Standard MediaPortal setup. This is a great looking program and I'm keen to see it working. Let me know if I can do any testing for you Kev, happy to help out, however busy at times. Thanks/Regards Dave |
