Default How is tvguide.lst supposed to work?

I don't understand how tvguide.lst is supposed to work.

Am I correct that

(1) the file should list different tvguide.xml files
(2) which can be named as per my liking and
(3) which need to be stored in the same directory as the tvguide.lst file and
(3) as soon as one of these xml files is updated, the EPG import is automatically triggered?

Thx

G.

Actually I noticed that changing the XML files would not trigger the update.
It seems that, changing the lst file itself triggers the update.
Is that wanted behavior?
