You need Gabests MPEG Splitter. Its installed either by downloading the Standalone filters from MPC-HC and registering them yourself, installing SAF v5, or by installing HD Pack 2.6 (or later).
Then you have to set .bdmv (i think) .m2ts as a video extension in MediaPortal config.

i found a program called multiAVCHD (there are prolly others but this worked for me) which can convert from VC-1 to H264
i got 4.5gig segments of the movie "clash of the titans" (5 segments) and i used TSmuxer to join the files together
i renamed the file to .MKV
now CoreAVC is...

I couldn't get .srt files to work in mediaportal at all, hence I merged them into the mkv container to get them to work as detailed in my prev post. Finally!!! The new GT220 is great... all screens display faster, and most importantly, h264 is perfect with no dropped frames... only issue is the fan noise... i'll look into that later ... one problem at a time ;)
