Playing lossless compressed files (.wv, .ape) works fine! I use the internal dshow - Player.

In Mediaportal, when using the DSHOW internal player, half the MP3's do not work.

I have a problem with a handful of my videos, where MP can't play a movie because audio Track 1 is empty.
To get it to play, I must open it in VLC, then manually select Audio Track 2.
Does anyone have any handy hacks/tricks to get around this problem?
The waif will love me forever if I manage to fix this!

when trying to play series which have english and german audio, all audio channels are played at once.
(mpeg-3, xvid)
works well with vlc/mpc but not in mp.
system is new installed, codecs should be alright.
